Amazon just announced that they plan to begin paying commissions to gamers, artists, chefs and others on its Twitch Interactive video-streaming service for selling products to their fans through its retail site. This is a smart move on Amazon's part, as Twitch attracts over 10 million viewers daily to its site - which live streams everything from gamers to chef to artists. Streamers who participate are eligible to earn up to 10% commission on each sale. According to Bloomberg, "Converting streamers into sales people will help Amazon boost revenue while giving them a way to earn money and dedicate more time to cultivating viewers."
