See ya: Hoda Kotb and Joel Schiffman, who got engaged in 2019 and have a two year old and a 4 year old daughter, are getting a divorce. They've been together since 2013, but just became engaged in 2019.
Congrats to Nick Cannon, who just announced that he's got an eighth child on the way --a baby boy with Bre Tiesi. Bre was previously married to quarterback Johnny Manziel. She's 30; Nick is 41. His other children include:
--10-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with his ex-wife Mariah Carey
--4-year-old son Golden “Sagon” and 1-year-old daughter Powerful Queen with Brittany Bell
--7-month-old twins Zion Mixolydian and Zillion Heir with Abby De La Rosa.
--Zen, his 6-month old daughter with model Alyssa Scott, passed away in December of last year due to a brain tumor.
There's a “Grease” prequel series in the works which will stream on Paramount+. Called “Rise of the Pink Ladies,” it's set to take place four years before the original film --which was set in 1959.
Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said Monday he's tested positive for COVID-19, but is “feeling fine” and will continue working remotely. He told Canadian Press he'd been in contact with somebody --one of his three children-- who'd tested positive for Coronavirus, and urged everyone to “please get vaccinated and get boosted.”
New White House resident --First Lady Jill Biden says they've welcomed a two-year-old, green-eyed, striped tabby cat named Willow. Jill named the pussy after her hometown of Willow Grove, PA, since the cat interrupted her remarks during a campaign stop in 2020. The Bidens also have a German Shepherd named Commander.
The Chinese New Year --the year of the Tiger-- begins Tuesday, February 1st and lasts a week. Get ready to celebrate with spring rolls, dumplings, noodles and fish!
Look for Tyler Perry's latest, "A Madea Homecoming," on Netflix beginning February 25th. The movie is the next installment in the Medea series following "Madea's Family Funeral" in 2019.
