New Records for Video Viewing in August

ComScore’s Video Metrix service recently released its video data for August, indicating a number of new records for online video viewing in the US.  First, it shows that a record 161 million U.S. Internet users watched online video during the month, which is well over half of the total US population.  Another milestone was reached as more than 25 billion videos were viewed in August.  Of those, more than 10 billion were served up by Google sites.
