The latest report on newspaper circulation from the ABC (Audit Bureau of Circulations) shows more big losses for the top 25 U.S. newspapers. The only paper among the nation's biggest to show a circulation gain was the Wall Street Journal, which eked out a tiny increase. However, this was due to a change a year ago in the way that papers can count online subscriptions. Without that accounting change, the Journal would have shown a small drop, but it's still a much more impressive showing than other big dailies. Here's a look at the performance of 6 of the biggest:
Paper Change Wall Street Journal + 0.5 % USA Today - 13.6 % New York Times - 8.5 % San Francisco Chronicle - 23 % Washington Post - 13.1 % Los Angeles Times - 14.7 % -
