YouTube Marks 5 Years

Neatly coinciding with the latest Pew study on online video viewing, YouTube <http://www.dmwmedia.com/news/2010/05/17/five-years-youtube-serving-2-billion-videos-daily> is celebrating its 5th anniversary. The video arm of Google now serves over 2 billion videos a day, a figure that the company says is double the combined audience of the "three major U.S. broadcast networks combined." Aside from the fact that there are four major TV networks, this is still an impressive feat for a site that started as something like the long-tail version of "America's Funniest Home Videos."
