Yesterday, I re-printed an article Mark Ramsey posted with an offer from the Facebook ads team offering a service to optimize ads on their site by, "The goal of this optimization will be to show you how to create more effective ads by creating stronger ad text, more fully utilizing our available targeting and other tactics."
So how we might we offer a similar type customer service experience that could also result in an upsell ... which I'm sure is at the heart of Facebook's "service."
- Have a frank discussion with your direct clients about the quality of their ads and message. I just did with a restaurant client that mentioned, and I kid you not, nine different "offers" in their ad of which I remembered none.
- Consider offering professional creative services like "Cash By Creative" www.cashbycreative.com
- Do you have a mobile platform yet? There is no more direct accountability application than trackable text messages in response to an offer.
- Talk to a client who only places rotators and propose a plan that includes more prime. It may result in less spots, but they will be better placed, heard by more people, thus "hopefully" generating a better response.
You get the drift. Think about it. You'll come up with more!
