It's been a big year for Apple. The iPad has been a smashing success, but it hasn't taken anything away from the iPhone. Apple announced that it sold 3 million iPads in 80 days. A week later, it was touting the fact that it sold 1.7 million units of the 4th generation iPhone in the first 3 days. Here are a few other eye-opening numbers from Cupertino:
- 1% - Percentage of Apple revenue attributed to its App Store <http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-app-store-revenue-2010-6>
- $187.51- Estimated cost <http://www.isuppli.com/Teardowns-Manufacturing-and-Pricing/News/Pages/iPhone-4-Carries-Bill-of-Materials-of-187-51-According-to-iSuppli.aspx> for the components (only) of the new iPhone 4
- 90.69% - Percent increase in Apple stock from June 2009 to June 2010
