Music Discovery on YouTube

YouTube is upgrading its music video functionality to facilitate music discovery, charts and curated playlists, among other features. The new YouTube Music <http://www.youtube.com/music> landing page is an attempt to get away from the hodge-podge approach to discovering new music and give users more direction in finding everything from the most popular videos to unsigned acts <http://www.youtube.com/user/musicianswanted#g/c/4DFF6391DD1AFEDB> . In the near future they also expect to add a list of concerts as part of an "Events Near You" feature.
