Women Lead the Way in Social Networking

The conventional wisdom is that women are more verbal and more social than men. So it should come as no surprise that women are using social networks in higher percentages than men. ComScore <http://www.dmwmedia.com/news/2010/07/28/study-social-networks-reach-higher-percentage-women> recently released a study showing that women are dominating in both reach and frequency of social net use. In the month of May, 75.8% of all women online visited a social networking site, versus 69.7% of men who were online. Furthermore, women average 5.5 hours per month on social networking sites, while men average just 4 hours.
