Apple TV to Become iTV

Apple is planning on relaunching its Apple TV device this fall as the "iTV," with a reduced price of $99. Endgadget reports <http://www.engadget.com/2010/08/11/upcoming-apple-tv-loses-1080p-playback-gains-apps> that iTV will have a lot of features in common with the iPhone 4 and will permit streaming from iTunes, as well as the ability to handle apps. The device will play video in 720p, as the processor is said not to be able to properly handle 1080i and 1080p.
