30% of US Households Lack Landline

Almost 1/3 of U.S. households are now cell phone only, and the pace of change is accelerating. Data from Citi Investment Research <http://www.businessinsider.com/chart-of-the-day-almost-a-third-of-us-households-have-cut-the-landline-cord-2010-8> shows that about 1% of U.S. households dump their landlines every quarter. As of June 2010, 29.7% of U.S. households had done so. That's up from about 25% a year ago. In early 2007, the figure was barely 15%.
