Next-Gen Gaming Hits The Market

It's the video-gaming equivalent of having the planets in alignment: This Christmas season we will be seeing all three next-generation game console boxes hit the store shelves, and how they sell will be something closely watched by the entire industry. Battling it out will be Sony's Playstation 3, Microsoft's XBox 360, and the Nintendo Wii.

Lines have already been reported for the Wii and the PS3 (much like we saw with the XBox 360 last year), and the excitement over these gaming consoles also reminds us that they do more than just gaming. Will any of these three consoles also take the future role of media center?
