Nokia has announced that it expects to have WiMax-enabled phones in 2008. WiMax phones will allow seamless and constant broadband Internet connections through the phone, allowing things like streamed video and audio.

Google Office Gets Closer

Google has just integrated its Google Spreadsheets and Writely web applications into a single site with a common interface and control panel. Called "Docs & Spreadsheets," the move doesn't offer any new applications, but is the next step to an integrated and seamless office. Before today, Spreadsheets and Writely (Google's word processing program) were individually branded and at different web addresses.
