With Google TV about to launch, more details are coming out about the service, its content, and Google TV-ready hardware. The first hardware devices to be rolled out are Sony TVs and Blu-ray players and they've received excellent reviews <http://www.zdnet.com/blog/google/sony-gets-google-tv-right/2540> . The devices use Google's Chrome web browser to access the net, integrating the entire web into the TV experience.
Additionally, a number of content producers are creating special apps to be used with Google TV. The initial content partners include Turner Broadcasting (TBS, TNT, CNN, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim), HBO, NBC Universal, and the NBA. Other deals reported to be in the works <http://tinyurl.com/2co2csy> include Pandora, Napster, the New York Times, USA Today, Vevo and Twitter.
