Here’s Part 5 of PMG President Tommy Hadges’ review of the CES:
In the 2012 Focus that Ford had on display, the Sync system provided an effortless way to listen to Pandora (one of the 3 iPhone apps, along with Stitcher & OpenBeak, that are currently designated as Sync Apps).
With Pandora playing on an iPhone when entering the vehicle, it immediately connected by Bluetooth & started playing on the car’s audio system, while showing channel information on the car’s in-dash display & allowing the use of voice commands to change the Pandora channel. It was quite impressive & represents a significant improvement in ease-of-use involving Internet-based audio streams, potentially making them as simple to receive in a car as satellite radio or even terrestrial radio. -
