Nintendo 3DS Ships on 3/27

Nintendo’s new 3D hand-held gaming system, the 3DS, will go on sale March 27th. The price for the new system will be $250 in the US. 30 new game titles, designed specifically for the 3DS, will follow in June. New features will include the ability for the system to share data with other 3DS owners, even when the unit is in sleep mode. Also while in sleep mode, the unit will be able to connect and download new content via Wi-Fi.

The system will not have an updated web browser and the ability to view 3D movies, at least not initially. Firmware updates in the future will add those capabilities and more. Read more about the new units here.
