MTV's New O Music Awards

MTV Networks has announced the latest in their line of successful awards shows, the O Music Awards, or OMA’s <http://theomas.tumblr.com/> . The first ever OMA’s will be shown online, across multiple platforms, on April 28th. In the coming weeks the categories and nominees for those categories will rolled out, using various web and social media outlets.

Meanwhile, MTV’s Music Meter, a service designed to help users discover new music, has been a big hit. The website launched in late 2010 and an iPad/iPhone app followed in March 2011. The app has rapidly ascended the App Store music chart.
